Birthday Girl!

Happy Birthday, Malainy!! My big one year old! What a fun weekend with both sets of parents here. Malainy was very spoiled and loved! We had many birthday calls, emails and notes....so thanks to everyone for making the weekend so special! LOVE this girl.

I love this picture of Jon and Malainy. I love watching Jon with her and how he just makes her smile and laugh, even when she is cranky. I love how gentle he is with her. I love how he loves her.

One year old

Time seriously flies. I think it flies faster the older I get, too. Tomorrow my baby girl turns one. Unreal. I have been a Mom for a year now and sometimes I still don't feel like I know what I'm doing. I don't think I ever will. I guess that is good, though, because if I did feel like I knew what I was doing then: 1. I would get a big head, 2. I would think I could do it all on my own, and 3. I have learned so much more in this past year about faith, hope and love in my times of struggle as a parent then in the times I felt like I knew what I was doing. Happy Birthday tomorrow, little Bubs! I love you.
